ClaimYourMoneyMN is a website for information about Minnesota’s new Child Tax Credit and how to apply for it. It includes links to the Minnesota Department of Revenue (the state agency that administers Minnesota’s taxes) and links to free tax preparation sites.

This site was created by a group of nonprofit Minnesota organizations to share resources with the goal of ensuring the most number of eligible Minnesotans know about and know how to claim the new Minnesota Child Tax Credit.

Participating organizations include the Children's Defense Fund-Minnesota, Minnesota Budget Project and Prepare+Prosper. 

Our organizations have long advocated for tax policies so that all Minnesotans have what they need to thrive. Our organizations do this through advocacy for families and children living on low incomes, pursuing fair tax policy for everyday Minnesotans, and ensuring folks can afford to file their income taxes and claim the tax credits they are eligible for.
